1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions ("Agreement") govern the provision of services by Burch Drainage ("Company," "we," "us," "our") to our clients ("Client," "you," "your"). By engaging our services, you agree to these terms.

2. Services

2.1 Scope of Services: Burch Drainage provides drainage services, including but not limited to, CCTV surveys, blocked drains clearing, high-pressure water jetting, electro-mechanical cleaning, vacuum tankers and liquid waste removal, planned maintenance, pipe repairs and replacement, excavation works, drain lining, and confined spaces entry.

2.2 Service Delivery: We will deliver the services with reasonable care and skill, in accordance with industry standards.

3. Pricing and Payment

3.1 Quotes and Estimates: All quotes and estimates provided by Burch Drainage are valid for 30 days unless otherwise specified.

3.2 Payment Terms: Payment is due upon completion of the services unless prior arrangements have been made. We accept various forms of payment, including bank transfers and card payment over the phone.
 

3.3 Overdue Payments: Significantly overdue invoices (60 days+) will be passed onto Burch Drainage’s debt collection partner in order to collect the payments due.
 

4. Cancellation and Rescheduling
 

4.1 Cancellation by Client: Cancellations must be made at least 12 hours prior to the scheduled service.
 

4.2 Cancellation by Company: We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule services due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, we will notify you as soon as possible and arrange a new appointment.
 

5. Client Responsibilities
 

5.1 Access: You must provide safe and timely access to the work site. Any delays caused by lack of access may result in additional charges.
 

5.2 Accurate Information: You are responsible for providing accurate and complete information regarding the nature of the drainage issue.

6. Liability

6.1 Limitation of Liability: Burch Drainage shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with the services provided.

6.2 Damage to Property: While we take every precaution to avoid damage, Burch Drainage is not responsible for any pre-existing damage to your property or any damage caused by necessary access or equipment use.
 

7. Warranties

7.1 Service Warranty: We warrant that our services will be performed with reasonable care and skill. If you are not satisfied with the service, please notify us within 14 days, and we will address the issue.

8. Confidentiality

8.1 Client Information: We will keep any personal information you provide confidential and will not disclose it to third parties without your consent, except as required by law.

9. Governing Law

9.1 Jurisdiction: These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the United Kingdom.

10. Amendments

10.1 Changes to Terms: Burch Drainage reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website and will take effect immediately.
